Stokes Valley 0 - Brooklyn Northern 13

The Public Servants more than made up for their lack of goals in the previous game, shipping in thirteen without reply against a woeful Stokes Valley side.

A full strength Brooklyn side were assured in defence, composed in midfield, and unrelenting in attack. The game started brightly with Carter opening the scoring, followed by Wakelin. Stokes Valley's offside trap foiled a few promising moves, but Brooklyn were able to add two more before the break - Clyne and Gleisner rounding things off.

After a convincing first-half Brooklyn were keen to keep up the momentum. They more than managed that objective, scoring another 9 goals, with Rogers bagging five with some superb precision shooting. Hall deservedly scored the first goal of his career, bundling the ball over the line while lying down.

Thirteen goals was just reward for the Public Servants after a near perfect display of football.
