Can you please pass on this information to all the females in your club – players, mums, coaches – anyone involved in football!

Next week Capital Football and New Zealand Football are holding Girls and Women’s Week. We are holding a number of visits to primary schools around the Wellington region which will include a Football Festival and maybe a visit from a Football Fern!

On Thursday 8 September, 7-9pm, we are holding an evening here at Capital Football especially for women to find out a bit about coaching, a bit about football, and a bit about refereeing! This is a fun, relaxed environment, and a chance for all mums and players of all levels to come along and ask those football questions you've always been too scared to ask. Our "panel of experts" include our own female Football Development Officer Emma Humphries and female referee Helen Mallon.

We will also be running our Girls Only Summer Leagues again – information for this will be coming out shortly.
