To all senior clubs,

Please see the letter attached to this email.

This season we have received a number of complaints about disorderly conduct from spectators on the sidelines of games. A common theme among many of these complaints has been the consumption of alcohol. Obviously this is as concern, and so we have decided to write to clubs to see if collectively we can go some way to addressing this problem.

The attached letter should be self-explanatory.

I realise that the season is winding down, but I’d be grateful if you could put a copy of this letter on your club website, and also distribute it to team managers/coaches and any other club officials who you consider appropriate.

We will renew the communication at the commencement of next season.
