The weather was almost the worst we’ve ever had; horizontal torrential rain and howling winds.  It was pretty hard to control the ball and any high balls got blown straight back at you.  Jacqui carefully placed the ball for a goal kick and had to chase it down the field as the wind blew it.

Our first half was great.  We were all working hard and managing to keep the ball on the deck and link up.  Jess made two great breakaways after the ball as the wind blew it across the turf.  No-one else could keep up with Jess or the ball, and Jess got two great goals.

Our spirits were high at the start of the second half but, well we need to work on our second half.
